A new chapter of Tiffany & Co. hospitality has arrived in Southern California with the opening of Blue Box Café at South Coast Plaza. Bringing the spirit of Tiffany’s celebrated New York dining experience to Costa Mesa, the café introduces a refined daytime destination where French-inspired cuisine, contemporary design, and the unmistakable world of Tiffany meet.
Located inside Tiffany & Co.’s reimagined South Coast Plaza store, Blue Box Café is led by Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud. Raised near Lyon, France, Boulud brings decades of culinary experience and a distinctly French sensibility to a menu shaped around seasonal ingredients and polished technique.
The experience unfolds throughout the day, beginning with Breakfast at Tiffany’s, followed by an elegant afternoon tea and a seasonally driven all-day menu. Desserts and pastries round out the offering, while signature dishes include the café’s Spaghettini au Caviar. The result is less a conventional café visit than a carefully composed Tiffany experience, where dining becomes part of the brand’s visual and cultural world.
The interiors carry that same sense of occasion. Tiffany’s signature design language is paired with contemporary architecture and curated artwork, while an artistic installation of Tiffany Blue boxes creates a distinctive focal point within the space. The setting also draws inspiration from Southern California’s coastal character, giving the iconic Blue Box Café concept a distinctly local expression.
