Four Seasons Yachts Debuts at Sea: Inside the Ultra-Luxury Launch of Four Seasons I

Over the weekend, Four Seasons officially entered the world of ultra-luxury yachting as its inaugural vessel, Four Seasons I, set sail on its maiden voyage through the Mediterranean.

Four Seasons I

The launch marks a major milestone for the iconic hospitality brand and coincides with its 65th anniversary, signaling a strategic expansion into luxury yacht travel and cruising.

Measuring 679 feet long, Four Seasons I is designed to feel more like a private yacht than a traditional cruise ship. With just 95 suites and a one-to-one guest-to-staff ratio, the experience prioritizes space, privacy, and highly personalized service.

Each suite features a residential-style layout, with many offering expansive terraces and private plunge pools. The standout Funnel Suite spans nearly 10,000 square feet, offering panoramic ocean views, while the Loft Suite features a large aft-facing terrace designed for seamless indoor-outdoor living.

Dining is a defining element onboard, positioning the vessel as a true culinary destination at sea. Guests can choose from 11 restaurants and lounges, including Sedna, which hosts a rotating lineup of Michelin-starred chefs from Four Seasons properties around the world. Menus range from Mediterranean seafood to curated omakase experiences, all centered on seasonal ingredients and elevated execution.

Wellness is equally elevated. The onboard L’Oceana Spa offers a full range of treatments, including hydrotherapy, cryotherapy, and infrared therapy, alongside daily programming such as yoga, meditation, and personalized fitness sessions.

One of the yacht’s most distinctive features is its transverse marina, which opens across both sides of the vessel to create direct access to the sea. This area serves as a private waterfront retreat, complete with water sports and curated ocean experiences.

For its inaugural season, Four Seasons I will sail throughout the Mediterranean, with stops in destinations such as Saint-Tropez, the Greek Isles, and Croatia, before heading to the Caribbean and Bahamas this winter.

With its debut, Four Seasons sets a new benchmark for luxury yacht travel, combining its signature hospitality with the privacy and freedom of life at sea.
