For more than a century, the US Open has been one of tennis’s most celebrated tournaments, with a rich history rooted in American sports culture. First held in 1881 as the U.S. National Championships on the grass courts of Newport, Rhode Island, it became the US Open in 1968 when professional and amateur players began competing together. After moving through several New York locations and changing court surfaces, the tournament found its permanent home at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows. Today, as one of tennis’s four Grand Slam tournaments, the US Open brings together the world’s top players and millions of fans, while also serving as a stage for fashion, personal style, and luxury.
This year, that intersection was particularly visible through the tournament’s luxury partnerships and brand experiences, with Tiffany & Co., Moët & Chandon, Ralph Lauren, Oura, La Roche-Posay, and others, bringing their own distinct take on the US Open experience.
Luxury Spaces Off the Court
Tiffany & Co.
Luxury and tennis came together through one of the tournament’s longest-standing relationships. Since 1987, Tiffany & Co. has handcrafted the US Open’s singles championship trophies, turning the final prize into a symbol of sporting achievement and exceptional craftsmanship. For the 2026 tournament, the Men’s and Women’s Singles Championship Trophies were displayed at Tiffany’s US Open pop-up at Flushing Meadows, giving visitors a closer look at the sterling silver trophies before they reached the winners’ hands. The tradition continued at the trophy ceremonies, where Alexander Zverev and Elena Rybakina lifted the pieces that have represented US Open victory for almost four decades.
Moët & Chandon
Moët & Chandon brought its signature celebration to the tournament as the Official Champagne of the US Open. Only a few steps away from Arthur Ashe Stadium, the Moët & Chandon Club de Tennis offered guests pours of Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut, Nectar Impérial Rosé, and the Moët Mimosa, alongside the new Moët Serve. Served in a tennis-ball-inspired can, the cocktail paired Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial Brut with the buzz of the tournament, creating a social way to experience the action between sets.
Polo Ralph Lauren
Polo Ralph Lauren continued its longstanding connection to tennis as both an Official Sponsor and Official Outfitter of the tournament. Beyond dressing the tournament’s ball crew and officials, the brand brought its signature American sportswear aesthetic to the grounds through its Ralph Lauren suite, where celebrities and guests gathered throughout the event. The brand also created a 2026 US Open collection inspired by the tournament, extending its tennis heritage into a range of polos, outerwear, accessories, and other pieces.
Oura
The 2026 US Open also marked the first year of Oura’s five-year partnership with the USTA, making the company the Official Wearable and Fitness Device Partner of the US Open. Bringing its focus on sleep, recovery, and readiness to one of tennis’s biggest stages, Oura created an immersive recovery experience where fans could cool down, reset, and explore the Oura ecosystem through immersive touchpoints. Guests could then use a key to open a locker of their choosing and take home a surprise product from the brand. The partnership reflects Oura’s belief that rest and recovery are essential to peak performance. The brand is set to become a founding partner of the future Player Performance Center and its wellness and recovery area when the facility opens in 2027.
La Roche-Posay
La Roche-Posay approached the US Open from another essential part of an outdoor tournament: sun protection. As the Official Sunscreen Partner, the brand brought its Anthelios line to the grounds, offering sunscreen samples and free skin checks with dermatologists while promoting everyday sun safety for players and fans. The partnership, which began in 2022, reflects the brand’s broader commitment to skin health and sun protection through tennis.
Cadillac
Cadillac returned as the Official Vehicle of the US Open, with its Fan Experience across from Arthur Ashe Stadium offering guests the chance to create their own Center Court entrance moment. The space also showcased Cadillac’s latest EV lineup, including the OPTIQ, LYRIQ, VISTIQ, and ESCALADE IQ.
Alexander Zverev Takes the Title
The tournament ultimately belonged to Alexander Zverev, who defeated American athlete Ben Shelton in the men’s singles final to claim his second Grand Slam title and second major championship of 2026. The victory was especially significant for the 29-year-old German, who had previously reached the US Open final in 2020 and came within two points of winning the title before losing to Dominic Thiem. After years of coming close at the sport’s biggest tournaments, Zverev captured his first Grand Slam at Roland Garros earlier in the year before adding the US Open trophy to his collection.
Zverev’s apparel and equipment reflect a polished mix of performance and luxury. During the US Open, he sported an Adidas wardrobe and accessories, while playing with HEAD racquets, including the brand’s Zverev-endorsed Gravity line. He also proudly wears Jacob & Co. timepieces, adding a high-luxury finishing touch to the champion’s tournament style.
