One of the most prestigious tournaments in golf, the United States Open Championship, will be held for the 119th time in 2019. Pebble Beach will provide a true challenge for the world’s premier players, as it has for more than a century. Pebble Beach made history in 1972 when it became the first championship played on a course that is open to the pubic. The U.S. Open has since returned in 1982, 1992, 2000 and 2010.
