Miu Miu brought music and fashion together in Tokyo with the Miu Miu Jazz Club, a special project created to celebrate the reopening of its Ginza flagship. The event transformed the store and surrounding venues into a contemporary salon, where jazz, design, and cultural exchange met in one shared space. The experience reflected the brand’s ongoing investment in creative communities and its long connection with Japan.

The experience began at the renovated Ginza flagship, where guests were welcomed into a cocktail reception space designed for gathering and listening. The store took on a whole new tone for the evening. By blending high fashion, Japanese tearoom aesthetic, and live music, the space turned into a complete sound room experience. Rather than a traditional campaign launch, the presentation offered an atmosphere of sound, presence, and talent. Alongside the event, guests were given a preview of the 2026 Miu Miu Upcycled collection before its official release on May 18th, linking the night to the brand’s latest creative direction.

From the renewed storefront, the experience continued across Tokyo including Dance Hall Shinseiki and Tokyo Kinema Club. Each venue brought its own atmosphere and grounded the event in the character of the city. Live performances unfolded across the night, with jazz interpreted in many different ways through each setting.

The Miu Miu Jazz Club featured performances by acclaimed Japanese artists, including Grammy-winning pianist and composer Hiromi, Tokyo-based multi-instrumentalist Lily, and trumpeter, singer-songwriter, and producer Reiya Terakubo. Held at the historic Tokyo Kinema Club, the program drew on the venue’s legacy of cabaret and early film culture to create an immersive atmosphere. The evening concluded with an afterparty and an international headline performance, extending the experience beyond the main stage.

At the heart of the Miu Miu Jazz Club was the idea of art and listening. Inspired by Japan’s jazz and kissaten culture, the event treated music as something to focus on rather than simply hear in the background. Jazz in Japan has become part of the atmosphere of modern urban life, and the Miu Miu Jazz Club returned to this legacy with an approach that was contemporary, intimate, and energized.

The event reflected a broader direction in Miu Miu’s culture, highlighting individuality and local art within creative communities. Through music, fashion, and performance, the Jazz Club became an ideal space shaped by sound, connection, and vision in Tokyo.
