Verstappen Sets Record Pace at 2025 Italian Grand Prix in Monza

The 2025 Italian Grand Prix at Monza, held on September 7, celebrated the 75th running of this legendary race. Max Verstappen claimed victory for Red Bull Racing, completing 53 laps in 1:13:24.325, setting the fastest average race speed in Formula 1 history and breaking his own 2023 record.

McLaren delivered strong performances with Lando Norris finishing second and Oscar Piastri taking third. Charles Leclerc came in fourth for Ferrari in front of the passionate home crowd. Both Mercedes drivers, George Russell and Lewis Hamilton, finished in the points. Verstappen’s win extended his championship lead heading into the season’s final stretch.

Spectators can experience several premium hospitality packages. The Garden Lounge includes shaded seating, a gourmet buffet, and open bar service throughout the weekend. The Champions Club offers fine dining, pit-lane views, and direct sightlines of the start and finish line. Both are operated by Formula 1’s official hospitality partners.

The event takes place at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, a track renowned for its high-speed straights and minimal downforce setups. Spanning 3.6 miles, the circuit demands precise balance between engine performance and braking stability. Cars regularly exceed 217 mph on the main straight, making Monza one of the fastest tracks on the Formula 1 calendar.
