Prada and Gentle Monster have come together for their first-ever eyewear collaboration, blending the distinct creative visions of both brands into a limited-edition collection. Developed through a mutual focus on innovation and design, the release introduces three exclusive styles that reinterpret contemporary eyewear with bold, sculptural details. The collection will be available for a limited time in select Asian markets, including Japan, China Mainland, Hong Kong SAR, and South Korea.
The three designs pair angular lens shapes with architectural frames and streamlined titanium temples, creating silhouettes that balance structured form with effortless movement. The result is a collection that reflects both brands’ modern approach to craftsmanship and design.
The collaboration is accompanied by a campaign starring actor and Prada ambassador Kentaro Sakaguchi. Inspired by the idea of a book, the visual story unfolds through five imagined forces: earth, water, fire, air, and love, creating a narrative where the boundaries between reality and vision begin to fade.
Extending the story beyond the campaign, Prada Aoyama and the Gentle Monster flagship stores are hosting immersive installations inspired by the collaboration. Designed around three symbolic elements, the book, the sound system, and the robot, the spaces feature a curated collection of artifacts that expand upon the collection’s creative world, offering visitors a deeper connection to its narrative.
The Prada x Gentle Monster collection debuted in Japan with an in-store launch in early July, before arriving in select Asian markets for a limited-time release.
