For your next trip across the pond, British Airways is celebrating a new “Red Carpet Route” between Los Angeles and London on BA’s new A380.
We are particularly interested in the in-flight afternoon tea service for First Class in partnership with The Langham, London – sounds quintessentially British. The menu will also offer poached lobster and braised pork belly in first class and a trio of top notch Champagne from Laurent-Perrier, Henriot Vintage Brut and Balfour Brut Rosé.
In addition there are loads of in-flight perks including the latest Thales in-flight entertainment system, which offers customers more than 1,600 hours of programming, including more than 130 of the latest Hollywood blockbusters and classic movies, more than 650 TV shows from around the world displayed on larger touch screens in all cabins and an easier to use system with shortcut buttons. You can also connect personal devices, such as laptops and use the in-seat power available for the first time in all cabins (compatible with UK, US and European plugs) and two USB ports. If you’re traveling on British Airways with children, the 400 CD’s and interactive games should help ease the journey.
