HIMALAYAN SALT SPA
Ho’ola Spa is proud to introduce the first Salt Room in the Hawaiian Islands. In Eastern Europe, deep underground salt caves have been known for their healing benefits for centuries. The concept behind salt treatment is that large amounts of salt in an environment create pure, bacteria-free air that is therapeutic for patrons. Salt crystal stones fill the air with negative ions, which are crucial for a healthy body. Modern technology allows recreating the natural salt cave microclimate by precisely infusing pure salt as microscopic breathable particles and negative ions into the air.
Health Benefits
Salt Therapy is neither a medical treatment nor a replacement for medical care. It is a complementary and drug-free approach that offers adjunct support in relieving respiratory and skin conditions. Salt Generator
Our Halotherapy Salt Generator is the first model that is capable of producing particles as small as 0.3 microns in consistent quantity. It disperses dry aerosol micro-particles of salt (sodium chloride) into the Salt Room, penetrating deep into the lungs and bronchi. The inhaled salt has anti-inflammatory properties, which results in reduced inflammation in the entire respiratory tract, widening of the airway passages, and an improved immune system. The active ingredient used in our “artificial” Salt Cave is ionized salt gained from natural sources. This ionized salt does not evaporate during the treatment, thus the air remains dry. The salt particles are extremely fine in this microclimate, ensuring that they reach even the smallest bronchia and alveolar in the lungs and do not irritate the respiratory tract.
Himalayan Salt Panels
The beautiful Salt Panels decorating the walls are made of pure Himalayan Pink Salt. It’s a hand-mind salt that derived from 250 million years old ancient sea salt deposits. That salt has been exposed to enormous pressure for millions of years, causing the formation of that unique crystal salt. Typically, Himalayan Salt contains more than 80 minerals and elements, uncontaminated with any toxins or pollutants. The pink color is due to its high content of iron oxide.
