At BOOT Düsseldorf 2023 from January 20th to January 28th, Omikron Yachts is set to unveil their latest marvel. Attendees at the Düsseldorf event are in for an exclusive treat as they will be the first to lay eyes on this newly crafted yacht.
The OT60, at first glance, might seem familiar, but it’s far from ordinary. While it combines the efficiency of a sailing yacht with the heft of a motor yacht, the OT60 offers much more. It is designed to cruise comfortably at 8-13 knots, boasting a top speed of 15 knots. Remarkably, at a cruising speed of 8 knots, it can journey a staggering 1,000 miles on a single tank.
The yacht’s energy efficiency is primarily attributed to a custom hull designed by exterior architect Juan Kouyoumdjian, based in Valencia, Spain. Lorenzo Argento masterfully designed both the interior and exterior, delivering a seamless and iconic vision that blends style with functionality across two decks. The yacht radiates luxury with its meticulous details, sleek controls, and a white-gold aesthetic. The interiors, styled by Ciarmoli Queda Studio, feature natural materials, neutral tones, and tactile finishes, creating an inviting atmosphere.
Nikolas Dendrinos, Chairman of Olympic Marine, the parent company of Omikron Yachts, shared insights into the OT60’s conception: “The OT60 was created in the spirit of the Greek island-hopping lifestyle, blending a love for elegant and comfortable sea journeys… For us, it’s not merely about promoting our product, but about igniting a shift in the industry towards sustainable solutions that don’t add complexity or cost, benefiting both the environment and yachting enthusiasts.”
Omikron Yachts, deeply inspired by the Aegean sea-hopping lifestyle, is poised to shine at BOOT Düsseldorf later this month with the public debut of the OT60.
