Personally speaking, I don’t like to gamble. What I do like is a sure thing, an absolute lock and a guaranteed winner.
That is why I can unequivocally say that not only is the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas my favorite place to stay on the Strip, it’s also the safest bet you can make in Vegas. It sits just far enough away from everything, but still, you always know you are close enough to anything you could possibly want or desire.
And with a Trump property, opulence and service abound. There is no casino in the resort, which means not only is there no smoke constantly lingering in the air, but the aromatic sensations you are indulged in when you first arrive make you want to linger in the lobby as long as you can. The resort has 1,282 total suites, 50 of them being penthouse suites. Like every Trump property, all levels
of the experience are world class. Utilize the hotel car service if you can, as a luxury SUV will be made available for trips to and from the airport as well as to other destinations on the Strip.
The resort certainly makes its presence known aesthetically on the Las Vegas skyline. The 600-foot hotel is encased in 24-karat gold glass, which allows it to stand out as an architectural mecca, glowing and glistening and shining day and night like a remarkable jewel in the desert sky. The views from the upper floor suites that open to the entire Strip are truly some of the finest in Vegas.
Staying at Trump International Las Vegas is a delight on so many levels, and topping the list for me is being pleasantly and constantly reminded that you are in a five-star luxury hotel, not a behemoth mega casino where you spend half your stay walking in circles. The elevators are inside the lobby, truly a novel concept in Vegas, and for dining options, you have DJT, the signature restaurant at Trump International, as well as H2(EAU), which offers incredible poolside dining the way you want it after a night of partying or day of shopping, golfing or deal-making. The Spa at Trump features nine luxurious treatment rooms, along with a state-of-the-art health club.
While you generally don’t come to Vegas to rest, it’s so nice to know that when you want to, Trump International Las Vegas makes it as easy to do as getting a suntan in July. I experienced a Two-Bedroom Penthouse suite, which was spectacular, with the finest in luxury, technology and service. My wife and I, along with our friends who work as a television anchor in Chicago and as a prominent NFL referee, celebrated an evening together, using our suite as headquarters to begin the evening enjoying cocktails and our breathtaking view, before heading out to dinner away from the hotel. Again, when the night is over, you can’t put a price tag on how nice it is to get into your suite immediately after stepping out of your car.
As a refined and experienced traveler of great taste, if you haven’t experienced Trump International Las Vegas, do it on your next trip. It is the perfect place to call your personal luxury headquarters in Vegas, with anything and everything Las Vegas has to offer at your disposal and fingertips. That is, assuming you choose to leave the hotel, which you might not want to do.
