Concord Regional Airport & Quintessentially Aviation Handling Join the Network
World Fuel Services announced today that the Air Elite Network is continuing its steady growth with the addition of Concord Regional Airport (KJQF), located in Concord, NC and Quintessentially Aviation Handling, located at Shannon Airport (EINN) in Shannon, Co. Clare, Ireland.
Owned and operated by the City of Concord, Concord Regional Airport’s (http://www.concordnc.gov/departments/concord-regional-airport) 24-hour, full service FBO is located just 15 minutes northeast of Charlotte, NC’s central business district, in the heart of the highest growth corridor in North Carolina and convenient to several local attractions including the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Concord Regional Airport is equipped with a 7,400 foot runway and a control tower which operates from 0700 to 2300 daily (with extended hours during peak events).
With its award winning service and southern hospitality, the FBO offers Phillips 66® Aviation branded fuel, hangar space and ramp parking, along with all of the other ground services business & general aviation customers have come to expect from a full service facility. A complete flight planning room and renovated pilots lounge featuring satellite TV and high-speed internet workstations keep crew members refreshed and prepared for their next leg, while concierge services, free wireless internet access, and well-equipped meeting spaces keep passengers comfortable and productive.
“We are excited to be part of the Air Elite network. Our staff is ready to serve our customers’ needs and look forward to a long relationship with the Air Elite Network” said Rick Cloutier, Aviation Director of Concord Regional Airport.
Quintessentially Aviation Handling (QA FBO), officially launching their new FBO at NBAA 2013, has begun operating at Shannon Airport, a popular gateway airport for European, Russian and Middle Eastern business aviation flights destined for the United States. The 24/7/365 operations, clear weather records, 3,200 meter runway, and the fact that it hosts the only pre-customs clearance facility outside of the Americas makes the airport an attractive technical stop for transatlantic flights to the USA.
QA Aviation is a part of the Quintessentially Group, a leader in global concierge services for ultra-high-net-worth individuals for over ten years. Though the FBO is operational and providing full ground services to aircraft, the construction of the terminal facilities is ongoing and slated for completion in December 2013. The state-of-the-art 1750 sq. ft. passenger and crew facilities will include a flight planning center, crew rest area, showers, WiFi, satellite TV and a luxurious VIP passenger lounge designed to cater to Quintessentially’s discerning clientele.
“As an independent FBO serving an international business aviation market we recognize the need to retain our identity, but offer international service levels. Working with Air Elite allows us to do that so we are pleased to be a member of the network.” said Brendan McQuaid, Managing Director of Quintessentially Aviation Handling
With the addition of Concord Regional Airport and Quintessentially Aviation Handling, the Air Elite Network now includes 32 locations world wide. The network was established in late 2011 and each FBO must meet a number of airport, facility and service quality standards to qualify for membership.
