Louis Vuitton Tambour Curve Flying Tourbillon
The cult material that makes up the curves of Louis Vuitton’s latest timepiece is making waves. The outer part of the Tambour Curve’s case is made from CarboStratum, an ultra-lightweight material made by layering 100 sheets of compressed carbon. The LV monogram is both a graphic element and a structural part of the design, with the dial open-worked and the tourbillon visible at 9 o’clock. Fancy the extremely conspicuous? The high jewelry version boasts 354 diamonds weighing in at a total of 4.22 carats.
Jacob & Co. Opera Scarface Watch
Working with Universal Pictures to obtain rights to the name and likeness of Al Pacino, star of the notorious Scarface movie, Jacob & Co. has created two versions of this high drama watch, which plays the movie’s signature theme. A black grand piano sits on the dial opposite the Scarface poster and its keys move when the music plays. A globe with the words “The World is Yours” inscribed in gold, takes center spot on the dial. The black version listed at $330,000, while rose gold is $360,000.
Breguet Reine de Naples 8918
For the very first time, Breguet adorns the delicate oval dial of the Reine de Naples with pure, bright white grand feu enamel, complete with numerals in sublime shades. Poised in contrast to an immaculate background, the stylized Breguet numerals appear in blue enamel, as does the signature of the House. The alligator leather strap, fitted with a folding buckle set with 28 diamonds, echoes these celestial hues. 117 diamonds emphasize the bezel and the dial flange of this composition in white gold.
Cartier’s Fine Watchmaking Collection
Debuting to ravenous fanfare in 2008, the Cartier Fine Watchmaking collection marked a seismic move for the brand. Introducing three new extraordinarily complex timepieces that push technical boundaries, Cartier showcases how avant-garde flourishes can be sprinkled in plain sight onto traditional motifs. The ultra-chic trio are all skeletonized, so that the hands appear to move unaided by any mechanism. The effect is rather spellbinding.
Christophe Claret X-TREM-1
The first of a new generation of timepieces, the X-TREM-1 signals a bold departure from current watchmaking conventions. A flying tourbillon inclined at a 30° angle, mounted on a three-dimensional curvex titanium mainplate, equipped with a retrograde hours and minutes display system that is radical in both style and substance.

Talk about wrist rapture. The new Sang Bleu II reverently channels the design ethos of renown tattoo artist Maxime Plescia-Buchi. The imposing 45mm case of this new model bristles with cunning angles and a hypnotic juxtaposition of geometric shapes. The surfaces celebrate this eye-catching geometry with alternating polished and satin-brushed finishes.
Breitling for Bentley B05 Unitime Midnight Carbon
Sapphires hit your sweet spot? With a limited edition of 500, the Bentley Midnight Carbon is Breitling’s latest coup. Flaunting an elegant 49 mm black steel case, with an AR-coated sapphire crystal and a sapphire display back, this exquisite timepiece is water resistant to 100-meters. Movement by Breitling in-house caliber B05, with 56 jewels, 28,800 vph.
HYT‘s H1.0 x Mr Porter
HYT only produces around 500 watches a year; this ‘H1.0’ model is even more elite, with only five created especially for Mr Porter. A domed crystal lens reveals the intricacies of the label’s NASA-approved piston movement; a coated glass capillary ensures the seamless glide of precious black liquid dye around each marker.
MB&F x L’Epée Starfleet Explorer table clock
Does a clock merely tell us the time? Certainly not! A prestige collector’s item tells a story. For the Starfleet Explorer, this Swiss clock dream team has returned to the spirit of exploration with three spacecraft that rotate the movement every five minutes, orbiting the table clock like a mothership. Minutes are revealed at the top of the center element, with a fixed aperture over a rotating dome. This futuristic collaboration by MB&F and L’Epée measures 16.5cm by 11cm and is available in blue, green, and red.
